This course serves as an introduction to java Programming. The course focuses on giving the attendees highlights on the java history and evolution of java from a newly introduced language to becoming a standard in application development.The course covers the basic building blocks of Java programming language, and these includes data types (either primitive or reference datatypes), looping and Iteration Statements, string handling Classes, implementing encapsulation using packages.It introduces the Lambda expressions ad how Lambda expression affected our code writing methodology. The course provides information on storing data in different collection types and performing searching, sorting, shuffling on the collection elements’.

The course concludes with introduction to Java Stream API’s and how to create streams form different collection types to perform in memory processing for data in these collections.
